Upon completion of the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, Wesely Thomas renovated approximately 8,300 SF of the former NICU space for the Labor & Delivery Department. The renovations included four new labor and delivery rooms, two new private and one shared triage rooms, and a postpartum room. Additional improvements included added nurse workspace, locker room, and expanded reception/waiting area. The project also incorporated Infant Security and Access Control System upgrades and exterior enhancements created a new dedicated entry for the Maternity Center with a new covered canopy.
