The scope of the project was to replace the (2) failing vitros 5600 analyzers with siemens Atellica analyzer systems. The project was phased to maintain operation of the existing analyzers during installation and startup of the new analyzers. Minor remodel of the casework and plumbing in the area is required to accommodate the new analyzer location. The new analyzers require a new power service to be brought to the area of work which includes a new transformer and panelboard to be located in a computer room adjacent to the lab. The lab air required for the analyzers was fed from the compressor that our team installed in the hospital as part of another upgrade in Sterile Processing Dept.
